Based in Damansara Jaya, our dedicated in-house training arm provides a wide array of training throughout the year. Skills-based and technical training are provided to employees from all career levels and job streams.
Apart from having open areas for casual discussions, the vibrant centre also houses a library offering a variety of titles spanning topics on soft skill and management to technical competencies.
As part of our development plan, an English Language Unit (ELU) was established to develop and implement programmes to enhance English language skills among Gamudians.
Our efforts in driving high level of English proficiency was recognised by the British Council 2019 Innovation in Assessment Award. We are proud of this achievement as it attests to Gamuda’s efforts in enhancing effectiveness of communication in English among our people.

The CDU is set up to support and encourage employees to take ownership of their career in Gamuda. CDU provides internal career guidance and coaching to enhance employee’s effectiveness in current and future roles. All Gamudians are welcome to engage with the team in CDU, as well as to access assessment tools to discover their personal strengths and development needs.
With the fast pace in digital construction technology, BIM (Building Information Modelling) is proving to be a major game changer in the industry. We are glad to be part of the BIM team in Gamuda Land to digitise construction processes and bring multiple teams together for effective collaboration. Established in 1997 as a non-profit training centre dedicated to upgrading competencies and skills in the construction industry, it remains as the only one-stop training centre for plant operators in Malaysia.
GPOS has since provided plant operation competency training to approximately 40,000 trainees.
CTU provides young site supervisors and young engineers with development programmes encompassing real site work exposure.
CTU provides the Construction Management Programme (CMP), an internationally benchmarked construction training adopted from the best practices in Australia, Europe and Singapore to springboard trainees’ careers in the dynamic construction industry.
The goal of TTA was to upskill local youths to become skilled tunnellers working with tunnel-boring machine technology both for local and foreign projects.
The training centre is purpose-built to train the entire construction supply chain involved in the KVMRT project.
Trainings are carried out in collaboration with CIDB Holdings and NIOSH, based on an enhanced OSH programme.
